Terms of Service.

These Terms cover your use of palisaderoofingtn.com. The roofing work itself is governed by the separate written estimate and contract you and Palisade Roofing both sign — if anything here conflicts with your signed contract on a project-specific point, the contract controls for that project.

1. Who we are

Palisade Roofing LLC is a Tennessee residential roofing contractor, owned and operated by Christian Chambers, at 154 Old Turnpike Rd, Jonesborough, TN 37659. BBB A+ accredited since November 2023.

2. Estimates and pricing

• Free and non-binding until both sides sign a written contract.
• Fixed-price for the scope we wrote down — no hourly billing, no vague "allowances."
• Cost ranges on this website are informational only. The price for your roof is the one in your written estimate after we visit your property.
• Deposits and payment terms are stated in your written estimate and contract on a per-project basis. We don't ask for full payment up-front.
• If we find rotted decking or other latent conditions after work begins, we stop, photograph it, and contact you before adding scope or cost. Unit rates are disclosed in your contract.

Insurance-funded work: Tennessee law (Tenn. Code Ann. § 62-6-604) prohibits us from requiring payment from you until either your insurer confirms coverage in writing, or the three-business-day cancellation period under § 62-6-602 has expired (documented emergency repairs excepted).

3. Your right to cancel

3.1 Home solicitation sales (Tenn. Code Ann. § 47-18-701 et seq.)

If you sign a contract at your residence, you can cancel until midnight of the third business day after signing. Send written notice — letter, email, or fax — to the address in Section 8. Your signed contract will include the statutory "BUYER'S RIGHT TO CANCEL" notice and a Notice of Cancellation form.

3.2 Insurance-funded roofing (Tenn. Code Ann. § 62-6-602)

If your roofing work is paid (or expected to be paid) in whole or in part by a property and casualty insurance policy, you have an additional right to cancel any time before midnight on the third business day after your insurer notifies you in writing that all or part of the claim is not covered. Within 10 business days of receiving your cancellation, we return all payments you've made (except documented emergency repairs).

4. Warranty

• 10-year Palisade workmanship warranty, in writing, on every replacement. Covers installation defects in the work we performed.
• Repairs: warranty terms (if any) are stated on the individual written repair estimate.
• Manufacturer materials (shingles, panels, accessories) are covered separately under the manufacturer's own warranty document, which we share before you sign.
• Not covered: acts of God beyond the system's design rating, pre-existing conditions, work done by others after our install, lack of maintenance, animal damage. (Industry-standard exclusions.)
• Transfer: if you sell during the warranty period, give us a call and we'll handle it.

5. Insurance claim assistance — what we do and don't do

What we do: document storm/hail damage with date-stamped photos, write the scope in carrier terms, meet the adjuster on-site, and build the work plan around the carrier's approved scope.

What we are NOT. Palisade Roofing is not a licensed public adjuster under Tenn. Code Ann. Title 56, Chapter 6, Part 9. Tenn. Code Ann. § 62-6-605 specifically prohibits a residential roofing contractor from acting as a public adjuster without a license. So we don't negotiate the dollar amount of your settlement, advocate for a particular figure, collect a contingency fee or share of your settlement, or sign documents on your behalf. You — the policyholder — own the conversation with your insurer. If you want a professional to negotiate your settlement, that's a licensed public adjuster or attorney, not a roofer.

6. Use of this website

You're welcome to read, share, and reference the site. Please don't use automated scrapers, submit false information through our forms, attempt to bypass site security, or use the site to harass anyone or violate the law. We may suspend access for violations.

7. Intellectual property

The text, photos, illustrations, and design on palisaderoofingtn.com are owned by Palisade Roofing LLC or used under license. You may share for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution. Third-party trademarks (Atlas®, Pinnacle®, StormMaster®, Galvalume®, Kynar 500®, etc.) belong to their respective owners — we reference them to describe the products we install. When you submit content to us (a review, photo, message), you grant us a license to use it for service-related communications and marketing; you keep ownership and can ask us to remove a published quote anytime.

8. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Tennessee law. Venue for any permitted court action is in or serving Washington County, Tennessee.

We talk it out first. If a dispute can't be resolved by direct conversation, either side may request mediation before a Tennessee-licensed mediator (mutually agreed; if we can't agree within 30 days, the American Arbitration Association picks). Each side pays half the mediator's fee. We participate in at least one good-faith session.

If mediation doesn't resolve it (or no one requests it within 60 days of the dispute), the dispute goes to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Construction Industry rules, seated in Washington County, Tennessee.

Carve-outs — mediation/arbitration doesn't apply to: bodily injury or death claims; intellectual-property injunctive relief; mechanic's liens (Tenn. Code Ann. § 66-11-101 et seq.); or small-claims actions, which either side may bring instead.

No class-action waiver. We don't require you to give up class or collective rights.

Cost ranges, lifespan estimates, photographs, and other content on this site are provided for general information — they're not a quote, an offer, or a guarantee of any particular result for your home. To get an actual price, schedule an on-site visit.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date. Your signed roofing contract is governed by the version of these Terms in effect on the day you signed it.
